About the Poster:
My passion in photography started at a young age, with an attention to unique details within my surroundings. My photography is influenced by my experience as an Iranian immigrant and my interest in environmental issues. I explore issues of racial, cultural, and gender identity within the American society, as well as human interaction and relationship to nature. As a multidisciplinary artist, my illustrations and drawings incorporate Persian culture and language, and they draw from my memories and philosophies in life. My interests in various disciplines of art has allowed me to create and express in multiple forms, from constructing children's pop-up book to stencil-art using old x-ray sheets.
