About the product:
My wood carvings are birds cut from basswood. I love to carve spoons and small figures. With these birds I was hoping to create something that could be displayed in someone’s home. This gave me the opportunity to use any stain and finish, unlike when making spoons any stain or sealer has to be food safe. I took advantage of this and used rich (not food safe) wood stains as well as high gloss sealer on the birds.
