About the Tote Bag:
This 100% polyester tote was hand-dipped in custom-tinted Valspar Duramax and then rolled in shredded junk mail and other papers the artist received in the past few weeks. The exterior is adorned with photos on canvas that document the artist's ongoing outdoor installation, Messages, that features a large plexiglass cube filled with mail collected over a several year span that was placed on top of a 6' photo of a canceled butterfly stamp. The repurposed paper shredding provides extra durability, padding, and beauty to the already handsome bag and makes it perfect for carrying fragile items.
