About the Tote Bag:
Home is not a static place. As I’ve progress d further into adulthood, my vision of “home” constantly changes. I don’t find comfort in the home I spent my teenage years in, I’ve moved every year since starting college, and I don’t have a place I turn back to when I want to feel safe. I feel the most safe with myself. Through the chaos I’ve experienced these past 4 years, I’ve realized that “home” is a feeling.
It’s something you come back to, but it’s not a place. The traditional meaning of “home” is restrictive and makes us think there’s something wrong with us when we don’t have a physical place for ourselves to seek solace.
