why these were made and why the artist would like to part with them...

“These works produced in Hamburg and New York City represent my first forays into silkscreen printing and an adolescence lusting after Andy Warhol. I loved the process and product as much as I thought I would: Every stroke of the squeegee meant a new and brilliant miracle. Seven years later my practice has become increasingly performative, interactive, and distant from the two-dimensional. Holding on to all these editions no longer feels as important as it once did.”

Your Lost Nature: Pillowcase patterning + Subway fortune teller fliers + This week’s grill meat

HARD to Satisfy: Hard to satisfy? Like what you see? Call me! Ask for Cathy!

Landscape (Extra Cheese): Plein Air with Pizza Box

Das Beste ab Montag: Three linoleum prints serve as the basis for this selectively-sourced flyer from Lidl, one of Germany’s most popular grocery store chains. “The best as of Monday!” it promises.

Kaufland Red: Multiple linoleum prints create the basis for a four-color adaptation of a flyer from Kaufland, one of Germany’s foremost grocery store chains: “I am right here!”
