About the Tote Bag:
Love is a matter of the heart. The heart is considered to be the main source of emotions, desire, and wisdom. This bag is a gentle reminder of the contemplations of love. The love that leads with a warm welcoming heart or the love that leads with an ice-cold heart. I want the person who carries this bag to know that it’s okay to live life wholeheartedly, and sometimes that means making cold-hearted decisions. Even daily life decisions can be tough to know when to put yourself first.
I created this tote bag with acrylic paint and stitching. My passion for art started with painting when I was a little girl. I haven’t painted in a long time, so I wanted to go back to my roots and paint my heart out on this tote bag. The reason I decided to do two different hearts is because of a new relationship of mine. There are times when we have to have those hard discussions and there are times when my heart is extremely full of love. I wanted to represent the heart geometrically to show how fragile our hearts can truly be. Just like glass, our hearts can shatter within seconds.
